Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Mesa Web (the “Service”), a website building and hosting service operated by Mesa IT (QLD) Pty Ltd (ABN 72 630 101 870) (“Mesa”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Mesa Web lets you build a website using our builder, preview it free on a mesaweb.com.au address, and — on a paid plan — publish it on your own domain with hosting, TLS and backups managed by us. Features available on each plan are described on our pricing page and may change over time.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. You must provide a valid email address; some features are only enabled after you verify it. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
3. Free plan and paid plans
Building and previewing a site is free. To publish on your own domain you choose a paid plan (Starter, Growth or Business). Prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance.
4. No lock-in and cancellation
There is no fixed term — you may cancel any month. On cancellation your paid features (including custom-domain hosting) stop at the end of the current paid period; your build remains available to you on the free preview address. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for a partial month unless required by law.
5. Domains
Where a plan includes a domain, or you register one through us, the domain is registered with our upstream registrar subject to that registrar’s and the .au policy rules. Domain fees may be non-refundable once a domain is registered or renewed.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe does, under its own terms and PCI-DSS compliance. A failed payment may result in your paid features being suspended until payment succeeds.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the text, images and other material you add to your site. You grant us the licence needed to host, display, back up and (where you use our AI or “we polish your build” features) process that material to deliver the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload and for it being lawful.
8. AI-assisted building
Some plans and features use AI to draft or restructure site content. AI output can be inaccurate — you are responsible for reviewing and approving your site before it goes live. AI features may not be available on all accounts.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service for anything unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or that hosts malware, or to send spam. We may suspend or remove a site that breaches these terms or the law, and will make reasonable efforts to contact you first where practical.
10. Availability and support
We aim to keep the Service and hosted sites available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Support is provided by email at the level described for your plan.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for the Service is limited to resupplying the Service or refunding the fees you paid for the affected period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
